The first Techiepalooza event was run in SkySong in May 2012, with almost 500 people in attendance over the 7 hours of speakers, panels and general networking. The event has already become one of the biggest networking events in Arizona and one that that brings the Phoenix entrepreneurial and tech community together. Techiepalooza is a recruiting fair, technology conference, and entrepreneurial mixer all fused into one.

We learned how to build websites and mobile apps, the startup sector got to network with others, and we enjoyed enjoy some of the valley's own Food Trucks and we kick-backed with local beer and wine. The sponsors of the May event included MyList, Ecotality, Go Daddy, Safari Books Online, Stremor, Popchips, Arizona Technology Enterprise, Bazookapps, Employee Benefit Exchange, and Microsoft. ASU Partners are ASU Career Services, Changemaker Central at ASU, Career Preparation at the Polytechnic Campus, and Engineering Career Center at Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering.

Our next event is on Thursday November 15th 2012 in an expanded location in ASU SkySong including the main conference room and breakout panels and workshops on the second and third floors. At the heart of Techiepalooza is offering students, professionals, and community members an opportunity to network with one another. With more than 350 people already registered for this free event, and many companies looking to recruit talent, Techiepalooza is a must attend event for techies, entrepreneurs and the Phoenix business community.
